This morning we spent some time with Cameron and Cole. It was very obvious that their mom takes plenty of pictures! Cole isn’t even in kindergarten and I was pretty sure we were photographing a senior! Anytime he thought I was about to snap a shot he stopped what he was doing and smiled! This weekend we had the priviledge of going to Hattiesburg for some Christmas sessions. Heath, Ellie and Meg were so much fun. I always love to see the different personalities within one family. Heath is very studious. We got many serious pictures from him. Ellie is very outgoing. She talked from the moment we met up with them and, little Meg was just so shy! We had so much fun this afternoon spending time with Kambree and Jameson. Jameson just recently turned two and we enjoyed getting to capture him at this age. Jameson is all boy and full speed. I learned real quick that I better be ready when he looked! Kambree has so much personality. She even offered to take my photograph before we were done! I am loving the pictures we got! This morning we got to spend some time with a wonderful family. I always enjoy getting to shoot this family. Taylor is one of the most photogentic children I have ever met! We had the priviledge of spending some time with a wonderful couple this evening. Robin and Mark are expecting their first child this December. From the first time I spoke with Robin, when she was trying to decide on a photographer, I hoped I would be given the opportunity to capture this special time for them. To say their story touched me would be an understatement. I literally had chills as Robin told me of the years they had spent waiting on this special miracle. They have gone through so much to get to this point. After a few miscarriages and visits with a fertility specialist, Robin now gives herself shots every day just to mantain this pregnancy. It was so obvious from the beginning how much these two love this precious little girl and that every sacrifice they have made has been worth it to get her here. What awesome parents they already are! This little girl is truly blessed!
As a photographer, it is always an honor when someone books an appointment. Pictures are so important to us all that to be chosen to spend some time capturing precious moments between a family is something special. I only hope that those I photograph get as much out of a session as I do. Being allowed to be a part of such intimate family time is truly a blessing. This morning I had the opportunity to spend some time observing a mother with her two precious little boys. It was evident from the moment I met them, they have such a great connection and so much love for each other. I hope that I was able to capture that in my images. Children grow up so fast. Hopefully, I have given this family memories of the time they spent with mom for years to come. Yvette, thank you for choosing me to capture the relationship you have with your handsome boys. This evening we got to spend some time with Jennifer and Jamie and precious little Jacob. Despite the chilly weather, we got some great pictures! Jacob is such a handsome little man. This afternoon we spent some time at the fair with Mitch and Tish. They both have fun personalities and the fair was the perfect spot for some engagement pictures.
